Why should I rent Database Tools from Conquest?
If funding is available, buying is the best option. But if not, then RENT and the problem is solved. It will allow you to reduce your monthly cost to a very low amount.

It also allows you to plan the period you want to use and rent it. This flexibility is ideal for individual short term projects or to meet your budget requirements.

Are there rental plans with different payment options?
To start, select the desired rental plan and the license you need. At the end of a payment cycle renew it, Pause the renewal or cancel your rental completely.

What are the individual benefits of these 3 Rental Payment Plans?
Each payment plan has its own benefit. More flexibility means higher rental fee. Longer rental commitment results in lower rental fee.

  • RECURRING RENTAL PLAN 1
    • Monthly Rental Cycle
    • offers the highest flexibility
    • renewed manually or automatically after each rental cycle
    • consecutive monthly decreasing discount plan
    • renewal can be PAUSED for a max. Of 60 days after each rental cycle without losing the achieved discount level if renewed before the PAUSE period expires
    • can be cancelled at the end of any rental cycle

  • RECURRING RENTAL PLAN 2
    • 3 Month Rental Cycle
    • renewed manually or automatically after each rental cycle
    • consecutive monthly decreasing discount plan
    • renewal can be PAUSED for a max. of 120 days after each rental cycle without losing the achieved discount level if renewed before the PAUSE period expires
    • can be cancelled at the end of any rental cycle

  • RECURRING RENTAL PLAN 3
    • 6 Month Rental Cycle
    • renewed manually or automatically after each rental cycle
    • consecutive monthly decreasing discount plan
    • renewal can be PAUSED for a max. Of 240 days after each rental cycle without losing the achieved discount level if renewed before the PAUSE period expires
    • can be cancelled at the end of any rental cycle

  • AFTER 24 PAYMENTS (monthly) THE RENTED LICENSE IS YOURS
    • no more than 24 paying months
    • total elapsed time may exceed 24 months, depending on the amount of PAUSE time consumed between renewals
    • user may book Maintenance Support for their license

 

How can I RENEW, PAUSE or CANCEL my rental license?
After ordering your rental license, you will receive our confirmation email with your rental license key. This email also provides information on how to access to your customer account on our web site. Log in at any time and set your license to RENEW, PAUSE or CANCEL.

RENEW
Renewing your next rental payment cycle will add the remaining days of your current cycle to the new cycle. If you have Internet access, the application will update the license information automatically and you can continue to use your license. If you renew before the expiry of the next rental payment cycle, you will not lose the discount level of the previous rental payment cycle.

PAUSE
If you are not cancelling your rental license prior to the end of your current rental payment cycle, it will be automatically set to PAUSE. Each rental plan has its own PAUSE period. To help you avoid missed deadlines, we will remind you by email when a payment cycle or a PAUSE period approaches its end. If you do not RENEW your rental license before the PAUSE period expires, you will lose your achieved consecutive monthly discount level.

CANCEL
To cancel your rental license, log-in to your customer account on our web site and set your rental license to CANCEL. You can do this at any time.

This table shows the consecutive monthly decreasing discount plan between the 1st monthly rental fee and the 24th (last) monthly rental fee. Renewing the rental cycle on time (prior to the expiry of the Pause period) will result in maintaining the achieved discount level.

**)  The longer you continue to rent, the lower the monthly rental fee will be. Each consecutive rental cycle will be lower than the previous. If you renew it in time for the next rental payment cycle to begin, you will not lose the discount level you achieved at the end of the previous rental cycle. See "Rental Discount Plan" for more information.

***) You may wish to PAUSE your rental cycle renewal, e.g. to synchronize the usage of your rental license to your client project cycles, or you may go on vacation or participate in a training aso. This PAUSE feature offers great flexibility and cost planning. During a PAUSE, the use of the rental license (the product) is PAUSED and cannot be used until renewed. If you do not cancel your rental after a payment cycle has ended, your rental license account will be automatically PAUSED according to the rental plan provisions. To help you avoid missed deadlines, we will remind you by email when a payment cycle or a PAUSE period approaches its end.
